Registration Entry Dates


Spring 2022

Undergraduate Students

The registration entry date schedule is based on earned hours.  This does not include the hours in which you are currently enrolled. 

Registration takes place on the Registration Tools channel in MyCharleston on the Academic Services tab.

Registration for Spring 2022 begins on Monday, November 1, 2021 by assigned entry date for all currently enrolled undergraduate students. 

Registration opens at 8:00 am Eastern Standard Time on the designated dates listed below.  Please note, registration closes each day at 11:59 pm; it re-opens the next morning at 8:00 am.  For example, students with 90-122+ earned hours can begin to register at 8:00 am on Monday, November 1st. Students with 80-89 earned hours can begin to register at 8:00 am on Wednesday, November 3rd.

Registration for all currently enrolled students, regardless of earned hours, begins on Tuesday, November 16, 2021.

Summer 2022

Maymester and Summer Sessions registration begins March 15, 2022 for College of Charleston students.

Preparing Your Registration Plan

Don't wait until the last minute to begin preparing your registration plan! Students who have not declared a major should contact the Academic Advising & Planning Center at 843.953.5981 for an appointment. Students who have declared a major should contact their faculty advisor(s) for an advising appointment.

Students should also be sure to satisfy any registration holds on their account.  More information on registration holds can be found on go.cofc.edu/holds
