immediately prompted to change your PIN to a 6-digit number other than your
birthdate. You will then be
required to log back in with your new PIN. |

reasons Cougar Trail on the Web will NOT accept a student’s birthdate as
his/her PIN. |

Students should keep their permanent mailing
address updated. If this address is
different from your local address, both addresses must be maintained and
updated whenever there is a change using Cougar Trail on the Web. Current addresses are required to ensure
that students can be reached by departments on campus, faculty, and staff. |
|
Click here for an address update feature via
Cougar Trail on the Web. |

The Office of the Registrar places general
address registration holds if an address is not current which affects a
student's ability to register for courses. Students with a general address
hold are able to update address information which will lift the hold from
the account without visiting the Registrar's Office by using the personal
information table of student services available through Cougar Trail on the
Web. |

Cougar Trail will not allow you to register,
view grades, or view your unofficial transcript if you have a hold on your
account. Holds can be placed for
reasons such as unpaid library fines or past due balances. Check the Holds link to find out which
office you should contact. Only the
office that placed the hold can remove it.
Some holds are only lifted overnight, so please be cognizant and
check before your registration entry time or before the time that you need
to obtain a transcript or your grades. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
Cougar Trail on the Web prohibits scheduling
courses with a time conflict. The
system will show you the time conflict, and you must select another course
or another time. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Restricted Courses-Some courses require a
particular class status (e.g.. junior or senior) or a specific major. If you attempt to register for such a
course without the appropriate status, Cougar Trail on the Web will deny
the request. You may contact the
academic department for assistance. |
|
Prerequisites-Any time you attempt to register
for a course, the system will check your request against your academic
record. If you have not satisfied
the prerequisite, you will be unable to register for the course. Please contact the academic department
that offers the course for further assistance. |
|
Co-requisites-To register for a course that
requires a co-requisite (such as lecture and lab combinations), you must
type in the call number for both courses using the Drop/Add link and click
submit only after both call numbers have been entered. |
